Behind Maison Shiiba, there is first and foremost a personal story.
Shiiba was my grandmother's first name.
A woman for whom taking care of others often meant doing little things. A gesture. A thoughtful touch. A carefully chosen gift.
She had a way of making people feel that they mattered.
And, without really needing to say it, she passed on something to me that has never left me:
the value of a gift is not measured by its size, but by the intention behind it.
When she passed away, this idea remained.
A few years later, it became Maison Shiiba.
